For softer pencils, we recommend placing them in the fridge for a few minutes before sharpening to ensure a cleaner tip. Maintenance: To ensure the longevity of the blades and prevent cross-contamination between products, clean the sharpener regularly. Use the small cleaning stick (usually included or a toothpick) to remove wax buildup from the blades. Empty the residue container frequently and wipe the interior with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol to disinfect.
